Food Assignments
Each ward and branch in Red Deer, Calgary, and Southern Alberta will bring the following food items for the following meal time.
Lunch on Saturday, August 30, 2025
– Bring your own lunch or potluck per ward or branch
– Edmonton will provide rice and another main dish to supplement what you’ll be bringing
– Each unit will be responsible for providing their members the following for lunch and dinner.
- Disposable Cutlery
- Spoon and fork
- Disposable plates
- Napkins
- Cups
We strongly encourage members to bring reusable water bottles, there’s drinking fountains available in the chapel.
Dinner on Saturday, August 30, 2025
Bring food items for at LEAST 150 people:
- Cut fruits
- Disposable plates, spoon and fork, napkins, cups (we encourage everyone to bring reusable water bottles)
- Filipino desserts – Choose one from the following: Biko – Puto – Sapin-Sapin – Kutsinta
Edmonton will provide rice and 2 main dishes.

First Aid Department
The responsibilities of a first aid team during events include:
- Providing Immediate Medical Care: The team is responsible for responding to medical emergencies, offering first aid treatment to individuals who get injured or feel unwell during the event.
- Assessment and Triage: We assess the severity of injuries or illnesses, triage cases, and prioritize who needs immediate attention, ensuring that more serious cases are treated first.
- Monitoring Health Conditions: The first aid team will monitor participants, volunteers, or staff for any health issues like dehydration, heatstroke, or exhaustion, particularly during outdoor or physically demanding events.
- Managing Medical Equipment: Ensure that the first aid kit or medical supplies are stocked, well-maintained, and easily accessible. They may need additional equipment depending on the nature of the even.
- Coordinating with Emergency Services: In case of serious injuries or conditions that require more advanced medical intervention, the first aid team will acoordinate with paramedics or emergency medical services to ensure quick transport to a hospital or medical facility.
- Supporting Event Staff: The first aid team assists event organizers in identifying potential health hazards (like tripping hazards, or the need for shaded areas) to prevent injuries before they occur.
- Being Visible and Accessible: Ensuring that they are easily identifiable and accessible by placing first aid stations/making contact info available to reach in prominent areas.
- Following Protocols: Ensuring they follow proper medical protocols and report incidents or injuries following the event’s health and safety guidelines.

Registered participants will receive their name tags from their unit representatives on the day of the event and do not need to check in at the registration desk.

A: The registration deadline is May 31, 2025. Pre-registration helps the host city estimate the number of expected participants and plan accordingly.
Late registrants will still be accepted at the door on the day of the event; however, we highly recommend registering before the deadline.
